Call for Entries—Mut zur Wut 2021
International Poster Competition
The Call for Entries—Mut zur Wut 2021 just startet and you can upload your posters to the international competition’s website until April 30th!
Mut zur Wut is back! … And will start this year with its first biennale edition after taking the last year off and will continue to take place every two years from now on.
What a crazy last year it has been and as we enter the second decade of the 21st century, our world may seem turbulent and heated. Public discourse is often one-sided and fierce, and governments seem ill-prepared to properly deal with the changing political landscape.
In such times of turmoil, it is both challenging and immensely valuable to act in a level-headed, solution-oriented, and compassionate manner. As creatives, we have a special gift that society can benefit from, especially when things get turbulent: creatives are able to render and communicate ideas in a way that transcends all boundaries, be they language, cultural identity, age, gender, or belief system.
Anger should not push us to the outer wings of the political spectrum! Let us channel it and use it in a visually constructive way to inspire healthy discourse. Be creative, be bold, be honest!
As always, the contest’s process for submission is completely free of charge and uncomplicated for the creators. Your posters can simply be uploaded onto the contest’s website. The 30 most striking submissions will be displayed from mid-July until the end of August 2021 in the public space, certain areas in different cities, and hopefully again in multiple exhibitions.
The Team of Mut zur Wut hopes to receive many great submissions, from many beautiful places, and wonderful people and looks forward to presenting a fresh selection of visual dynamite in the streets this summer!
