#ShowUs Grant
Women’s Health
Getty Images and Dove have announced today the launch of the #ShowUs Grant focused on women’s health.
The #ShowUs Grant supports diversity in creative advertising photography and videography by providing two prizes of $ 5,000.– each, along with an extensive mentoring program. It aims to amplify the voices of women, femmes, and non-binary artists. The recipients will have the opportunity to license their award-winning content through GettyImages.com and iStock.com at a 100% royalty rate. The winners will also receive guidance and mentorship from a Getty Images Art Director, be featured on the Getty Images Creative Insights website, and promoted on relevant Getty Images and iStock social channels. Applicants need to provide a portfolio, a project proposal, a biography, and complete the online application in English. Only digital submissions will be accepted.
The jury, composed of a distinguished industry panel, recognizes photographers or videographers who cover the entire spectrum of the healthcare field. All perspectives, including age, ethnicity, identity, and physical or mental abilities, are valued and warmly welcomed.
Now in its fourth consecutive year, the #ShowUs project includes a global library of images captured by women, femmes, and non-binary photographers who reject stereotypical beauty standards worldwide. This global collection is a joint initiative by Getty Images and Dove and is 100% created by women, femmes, and non-binary individuals.
