Ideas create reality
The ADC Festival 2022 will be all about big ideas and how they can change reality. The annual gathering of Germanys creative industry will not only be back in Hamburg in a new location after two years of physical absence but also include online events and livestreams as well. From May 17th until 20th, a wide range of creative happenings are going to explore this year’s motto Ideas create reality from different perspectives.
The ADC Congress with international keynote speakers like Susan Credle (Partner & CCO Worldwide, FCB Global), Ivorian artist and activist Laetitita Ky and Oriini Kaipara (the first news anchor in New Zealand with traditional Tā moko tattoos) as well as high-profile panels e.g. on Feminism in Hip Hop will take place on May 19th at Hamburger Bucht, alongside workshops from TikTok, Epic Games, and much more. There will also be an Open Space for creatives to meet and network without any entrance fee.
Additionally, you will also be able to visit online masterclasses for free and watch inspiring events on YouTube all throughout the week. For example, the ADC will talk about the future of fonts on Wednesday, May 18th, and kick-off its new Future Diversity program on Friday, May 20th.
A goodie that outlasted the pandemic: The ADC Award Show and ADC Talent Award Show will also be live streamed on YouTube! The announcement of the winning works of the ADC Wettbewerb and Talent Award will also be screened on-side in Hamburg for everyone to join and not much more than a movie ticket.
