Companies, designers, architects, and agencies worldwide are invited to submit their products and projects for the Last Call of the international German Design Awards 2024. The German Design Awards by the German Design Council sets an international standard for innovative developments in design and competitiveness on the global market. It exclusively distinguishes projects that are ground-breaking within the German and international design landscape. The awards serve not only as a visible mark of success, but also provides the winners with access to a valuable network, international reach, and additional opportunities on the market. Registration closes on September 1st, 2023.
The German Design Awards have made supporting the diverse transformative challenges of our time through design its goal, for the reason that outstanding examples provide inspiration to others. Now more than ever before, meeting current demands means focusing on society and the impact that products and services have on it: through multi-perspective approaches, sustainable design processes and production that is both resource friendly and environmentally friendly. The top-class international jury for the German Design Awards will distinguish these ground-breaking design achievements; the award provides design trends with visibility across all sectors in a glamorous context.
The award ceremony in Frankfurt am Main in January 2024 is among the largest design events of the year, where international guests from diverse industries can come together and exchange ideas. The Gold award winners will also then be presented in an exhibition.
Top performances in the categories of Excellent Product Design, Excellent Communications Design, and Excellent Architecture will be honoured.

The German Design Council has served as the leading international centre of excellence for communication and knowledge exchange in the fields of design, brand, and innovation. It is a part of the global design community with its international services, support for young talents, and memberships, and has always contributed to establishing communication and networks worldwide. The German Design Council provides networking opportunities to its members and numerous other international design and brand experts in the form of events, conferences, awards, jury meetings, and expert panels; promotes discourse; and delivers important stimuli to the global economy. Its members currently include more than 350 companies.
