About Our Marketplace

Slanted.de operates as a marketplace, which means products are sold and shipped by various sellers from different locations. As a result, your order may arrive in multiple packages on different days, and shipping times or costs may vary depending on the seller.

Orders & Shipping

When ordering multiple products, it’s common for items to be shipped by different sellers. This means that packages may arrive separately and possibly on different days. We appreciate your patience as all items are delivered.

Books or other items might take longer to arrive for specific reasons. If an item is a preorder, it will only be shipped after the official release date, which is listed in the product description. Additionally, smaller orders (under 2kg) are often sent as merchandise mail without tracking to minimize shipping costs. Delivery times for these shipments typically range from:

  • 5–8 business days within Germany
  • Up to 3–4 weeks internationally, with occasional delays due to customs or high-traffic periods like the holidays.

Tracking information is provided via email if available. Please check your inbox, including spam folders, or log in to your customer account to view shipment details.

Once an order has been placed, it is not possible to add items due to our automated fulfillment process.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs depend on the seller, as well as the weight and size of the products. Some sellers offer free shipping. The final costs are calculated at checkout based on your destination.

For international shipments, customs fees may apply according to local regulations. These additional costs are determined by the shipping provider and are beyond our control.

Preorders

Preorder products are often available at a discounted rate. By ordering early, you can save compared to the regular price after release. Preorder items will be shipped as soon as they are officially published, with release dates provided in the product description.

The subscription period depends on the purchase date of your subscription (just before the release of a new issue or between two issues). In case of automatic renewal, the current subscription prices and shipping costs of the selected subscription apply.

If you would like to cancel an existing subscription, please log in and cancel your subscription in your account under My Subscriptions. You can cancel at any time. If you cannot login, please reset your password. If you still can’t login, please get in touch with us.

Returns & Refunds

If you’re unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us at [email protected] for detailed return instructions. Note that personalized products or those explicitly marked as non-returnable are excluded from refunds or exchanges.

Workshops & Summer Schools

For workshops and summer schools, the following cancellation policies apply:

  • Cancellations made up to 45 days before the event: A gift card will be issued, minus a 15% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 45 days before the event: Refunds are not available.

If the workshop is canceled by the organizer, participants will receive a full refund.
