Shipping
Purchased products are shipped with the most common shipping companies, depending on the originating country of the seller. Shipping time depends on the distance between the final destination and the starting point, too. Items in stock are often shipped directly, custom-made items take a little bit longer. Your purchased products from slanted.de may come from various locations because we’re working as a marketplace, and therefore may arrive to you in more than one package with different shipping rates.
Shipping costs
Sellers on slanted.de may quote their own prices for shipping, depending on the weight and size of their products. Some people also ship for free. Shipping costs are calculated in your cart after entering the destination country of your order. Based on the local customs regulations of the recipient country, additional customs fees may be charged by the shipping service provider. We have no influence on these.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders are often offered at a reduced price and are then sold at the regular rate when being published. So you save money if you order a product before its release date—but of course it will be shipped once it is available.
Subscriptions
Subscribe to Slanted magazine, save money, and never miss an issue! You can choose between six subscription types and save extra as a student. We ship free of charge within Germany. In case of automatic renewal of a subscription, the current subscription prices and shipping costs of the selected subscription apply. Questions about the subscription? Get in touch!
The subscription period depends on the purchase date of your subscription (just before the release of a new issue or between two issues). In case of automatic renewal, the current subscription prices and shipping costs of the selected subscription apply.
If you would like to cancel an existing subscription, please log in and cancel your subscription in your account under My Subscriptions. You can cancel at any time. If you cannot login, please reset your password. If you still can’t login, please get in touch with us.
Information about your order
All information about your order will be sent to your email address directly from the shipping company as far as the shipment can be tracked. If you’re living outside Germany, please check your spam folder for tracking information if you have not received an email, there you will probably also find a missing invoice and shipping confirmation. Returns
If you’re unhappy with your order, please let us know first before starting any other action: Get in touch with us via email [email protected] and we will provide detailed information for the return. More information can be found here. Please note that personalized products as well as products marked as non-returnable on the product page are excluded from return.
Workshops & Summer Schools
Cancellation fees are necessary for summer schools and workshops due to last-minute vacancies being difficult to fill, despite waiting lists. Cancellations made up to 45 days prior to the start of a class will receive a gift card, minus a 15% cancellation fee. There will be no refund for cancellations made 45 days or less before a class. In the event that a workshop is cancelled by the workshop leader, participants can receive a full refund from our platform. Please be aware that we’re not responsible for non-refundable airline tickets or accommodations.
