Slanted in Amsterdam: SiR Albert Hotel
Slanted Magazine #41—Amsterdam
Those who regularly follow our channels have surely come across articles about Amsterdam’s design scene (and more will follow). In November 2022, we embarked on an editorial trip to the Dutch capital for Slanted Magazine #41—Amsterdam, where we had the incredible opportunity to meet brilliant minds.
After long and exciting days, we were delighted to find tranquility in the elegant boutique hotel, Sir Albert. Located in the vibrant De Pijp district, it’s just minutes away from the Museum Quarter and offers everything culture enthusiasts and city lovers seek.
With high ceilings and large windows, the rooms blend historic details with clean, modern lines. A mandatory desk allows for quick email checks in the evening before resting on comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton sheets, preparing for the next adventure. Frankly, we didn’t have time for the gym as we explored Amsterdam entirely by bike (a tip we highly recommend to everyone).
IZAKAYA, the culinary hotspot for Asian cuisine with South American influences, served exquisite Japanese dishes alongside exceptional drinks. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired.
Our stay was truly delightful, with friendly staff and a stylish yet not over-the-top hotel. For those planning a trip to Amsterdam, here’s a true tip from the Slanted editorial team ;)
Thanks for having us!
