Unveiling the boundless creativity of Amsterdam’s design scene in our 41st issue, the Slanted team embarked on an unforgettable journey through the captivating heart of the Netherlands’ capital city. Amidst our explorations, we had the privilege of crossing paths with Vanessa van Dam. With gracious hospitality, she welcomed us into her studio, offering a glimpse into her passionate dedication and visionary endeavors.
Vanessa van Dam (Amsterdam, 1971) is an independent graphic designer. She graduated in 1996 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Amsterdam) and since then works for museums, architects, photographers, writers, etc. She has taught Graphic Design at several Art Academies in the Netherlands and abroad. She also participated in several commissions and juries in the Netherlands and abroad.
