AF PicLig
Aus dem Fontworks Newsletter:
"Acme continue to push the boundaries of type development. Christina Schultz's AF PicLig font (literally, Pic[ture] Lig[ature]s), is an intelligent OpenType font that makes it possible to create symbols out of letters using OpenType's contextual character substitution features. Used in an OT savvy application such as InDesign it enables users to type character combinations which then merge into symbols, effectively converting the keyboard into a credible drawing tool. Cleverly engineered, PicLig also contains a standard ascii set of pixelised characters which are ideal for web and multimedia usage."
