Gelb: Livestrong
LIVESTRONG ist eine Spenden-Aktion der Lance Armstrong Cancer Foundation, die sich für die Bekämpfung von Krebs einsetzt. Über 40 Mio. Bänder wurden bereits verkauft und Hollywood-Stars wie Will Smith tragen die gelben Bänder mit Stolz. Sein auch Sie dabei und helfen Sie mit ihrer Spende beim Kampf gegen den Krebs.
Weiss: Oxfam
Als international tätige Entwicklungsorganisation gehört Oxfam zu den Mitinitiatoren des „Global Call to Action against Poverty“. Diese weltweite Kampagne von Nichtregierungsorganisationen will im Jahr 2005 einen Durchbruch beim Kampf gegen Armut erzielen und konkrete Fortschritte auf den Gebieten mehr und bessere Entwicklungshilfe, umfassender Schuldenerlass für arme Länder und faire Welthandelsregeln erreichen. In Deutschland läuft die Aktion unter dem Motto „Deine Stimme gegen Armut“. Sie wird von dem Dachverband Entwicklungspolitik Deutscher Nichtregierungsorganisationen e.V. (VENRO) koordiniert.
Symbol der weltweiten Aktion gegen Armut ist das Weiße Band, das möglichst viele Menschen z.B. als Armband tragen sollen.
