The Book of Paper

»The Book of Paper« ist der Beginn einer Buchserie namens »The Book of…«, die das kreative Potential, die Eigenschaften und Qualitäten scheinbar alltäglicher Materialien, wie Papier, Holz, Glas und Stein erforscht.

Das erste in dieser Reihe erscheinende Buch, das sich mit Papier auseinandersetzt, wird heute veröffentlicht. Die Arbeiten des Designers und Bildhauers Oliver Helfrich und der Fotografin Antje Peters treffen auf Essays von Künstlern, Architekten und Wissenschaftlern, die alle ihren ganz eigenen Bezug zu Papier haben.

A collaboration between designer/sculptor Oliver Helfrich and photographer Antje Peters, »The Book of Paper« also features a series of essays written by artists, architects and scientists, all of whom have unique approaches to paper – from adopting origami to fold space telescopes to creating earthquake-resistant cardboard architecture or using paper as a therapeutic tool.
