Als ich dieses Buch bestellt habe, um es auf Slanted vorzustellen, war mir nicht bewusst, was ich mir damit einfange. Seit ein paar Tagen bin ich inoffizieller Guerilla Artist, weil ich mir das Guerilla Art Kit von Keri Smith zugelegt habe, mit dem alles ein bisschen schöner, größer, phantasievoller, aufregender und bunter geworden ist.
Was Guerilla Art überhaupt ist, was man tun kann, um Guerilla Artist zu sein/werden und welche Methoden, Tricks und Tipps man gebrauchen kann, findet man im Inhaltsverzeichnis schön aufgelistet:
1. Introduction (What is Guerilla Art?, Finding your inner Guerilla Artist, A word on the Value of Impermanence, What do you want to say?)

Mir gefällt die lockere Art und Weise, wie das Buch aufgebaut und gelayoutet ist. Die Texte sind humorvoll, die kleinen Illustrationen sehr lieblich.
Mein absoluter Favorit ist die »Seed Bomb« auf Seite 45:
»Seed Bombs (or balls) are a way to add greenery and life (and also food) to places that are neglected or rundown. They work in any space that has bit of dirt and access to sun and rain...Easy to make, seed bombs do not need to be buried or watered (that is their genius) - the seeds will self-germinate when the right conditions occur. They can be thrown into landfill sites or unused empty lots...Plant flowers along the curb!...« (how to make a seed bomb)
Kleiner Tipp: Der Frühling steht schon vor der Tür, das Wetter ist günstig ;) - zudem ist das Buch sehr günstig und sicher ein ganz besonderes Geschenk für ganz besondere Menschen.
